(RightIsRight.co) – As yet another investigation into the January 6 riots is underway, Americans hold little hope that any new evidence will appear. Even renowned lawyer Alan Dershowitz does not believe House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) select committee will come to any new conclusions, but instead will simply further “partisan interests.”
On Tuesday, July 27, Dershowitz, a Constitutional and criminal law attorney, spoke with Newsmax’s “Spicer & Co.” to discuss the first meeting of the newly-formed and heavily Democratic congressional committee. He highlighted that Americans and lawmakers must remember that each “individual person must be held accountable for what they did and didn’t do — the president included.”
Democrats are currently trying to paint every person who entered Capitol grounds that day as a crazed right-wing rioter. Dershowitz reminds us that this description is only accurate for a small percentage of those involved.
Dershowitz also spoke about the likelihood of former President Donald Trump testifying, as shared here by Newsmax:

All in all, Dershowitz believes the committee will fail. He emphasized that no one in Washington can “do anything without trying to get some partisan advantage,” and this hearing is a perfect example of that. Rather than learning the truth, Americans will only be fed partisan opinions from partisan investigations, which is a disappointing result for our democracy.
