(RightIsRight.co) – In an unashamed abuse of presidential power, Joe Biden has lied to the entire nation as he has pardoned his son Hunter Biden for federal felony gun and tax convictions.

This unprecedented government overreach undermines the justice system and exposes the depths of corruption within the Biden family.
Joe’s decision to pardon Hunter covers a wide range of offenses committed from January 1, 2014, to December 1, 2024. This blanket pardon effectively wipes clean Hunter’s slate, erasing his convictions for tax evasion and federal gun charges.
Hunter was found guilty of making false statements during a gun purchase and possessing a firearm as an unlawful user of controlled substances, crimes that could have landed him in prison for up to 25 years.
Despite previously claiming he would not interfere with the Department of Justice (DOJ) decision-making, Joe has now completely reversed course.
In a statement dripping with hypocrisy, he declared, “Today, I signed a pardon for my son Hunter.”
He continued, “From the day I took office, I said I would not interfere with the Justice Department’s decision-making, and I kept my word even as I have watched my son being selectively, and unfairly, prosecuted.”
This blatant lie contradicts Joe’s earlier statement: “I am not going to do anything. I will abide by the jury’s decision.”
The Biden administration’s attempts to justify this travesty of justice are as transparent as they are laughable.
White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre had previously denied any plans for a pardon, once again proving that this administration’s word cannot be trusted.
Joe even went so far as to accuse his political opponents in Congress of instigating the charges against Hunter and causing a plea deal to fall apart, conveniently ignoring the mountain of evidence against his son.

Ever the opportunist, Hunter released a statement acknowledging his “past mistakes” and expressing gratitude for the pardon.
This hollow gesture does nothing to address the years of influence peddling and corrupt dealings that have enriched the Biden family at the expense of the American people.
“I’m extremely proud of my son Hunter. He has overcome an addiction. He is — he’s one of the brightest, most decent men I know.” Joe once said.
The stark contrast between the treatment of Hunter and the relentless persecution of conservative figures could not be clearer.
While the Biden family enjoys the protection of the highest office in the land, patriots who dared to question their and up for their constitutional rights face harsh legal consequences.
