(RightIsRight.co) – Joe Biden’s despicable acts at the end of his presidency are piling up as he has now awarded the Presidential Citizens Medal to key figures of the January 6 Capitol investigation, including Democrat Bennie Thompson and RINO Liz Cheney.

These individuals, controversially recognized for their roles, highlight Biden’s commitment to a narrative that many argue is divisive.

Under the guise of honoring civic duty, this ceremony hosts a broader ideological agenda.

President Biden will present the Presidential Citizens Medal to 20 individuals at a White House ceremony.

Among the recipients are former Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney and Rep. Bennie G. Thompson.

Their recognition stems from their involvement in the investigation of the January 6 Capitol events, a move seen by many as politically charged, ABC News reports.

Established by President Richard Nixon in 1969, the Presidential Citizens Medal is the nation’s second-highest civilian honor.

The medal honors individuals for exemplary service to the country or fellow citizens.

Yet, the inclusion of Cheney and Thompson, whose findings in the committee target former President Trump, fuels controversy.

The White House statement praised Cheney for defending national ideals and Thompson for his commitment to the rule of law.

This sentiment echoes Biden’s stance, placing them “at the forefront of defending the rule of law with unwavering integrity and a steadfast commitment to truth.”

The ceremony also honors individuals like Mary Bonauto and Evan Wolfson for advocating same-sex marriage.

Frank Butler receives recognition for innovations in military trauma care, while Eleanor Smeal’s work in women’s rights advocacy is acknowledged.

Furthermore, the honorees include historic figures like Mitsuye Endo Tsutsumi, recognized for her legal challenge during WWII.

“President Biden believes these Americans are bonded by their common decency and commitment to serving others. The country is better because of their dedication and sacrifice,” the White House said, cited by The Guardian.

However, former President Trump has decried the findings of the January 6 committee, labeling Cheney and Thompson’s actions as inexcusable.

“Cheney did something that’s inexcusable,” Trump remarked, suggesting that these committee leaders should face legal consequences.

Biden, conversely, may pursue preemptive pardons for those his administration views as unfairly targeted by Trump’s criticism.

This ceremony serves as a stark reminder of the current administration’s focus, prompting conservatives to question the broader implications on national unity.

While Biden celebrates these honorees, many question whether these recognitions genuinely represent unbiased civic excellence or reflect a politically motivated agenda.
