(RightIsRight.co) – Feeling the heat from American consumers and their hate for the record-high prices they are paying for gasoline at their local filling station, President Joe Biden is accepting responsibility for the energy crisis in the United States of America.
Just kidding. And, it’s a bad joke.
Actually, instead of accepting responsibility for the pain consumers feel every time they fill their gas tanks – pain that is causing many Americans to have to cut back on holiday travel plans – Biden is blaming the oil industry and price gouging.
According to our friends at the conservative Breitbart publication, “With nationwide gas prices reaching historic highs, inflation marking a thirty-year high, and a supply chain that seems permanently broken, President Biden is presumably seeking to escape responsibility for his failed energy agenda by placing blame on oil companies.”
In a letter to the Federal Trade Commission, Biden argued:
“I do not accept hard-working Americans paying more for gas because of anti-competitive or otherwise potentially illegal conduct. I therefore ask that the Commission further examine what is happening with oil and gas markets, and that you bring all of the Commission’s tools to bear if you uncover any wrongdoing.”
So, as you can see, instead of adopting the Truman philosophy of the buck stops at the president’s desk in the Oval Office, Biden is scapegoating the oil industry.
