(RightIsRight.co) – BREAKING NOW: Proving that any prediction from President Joe Biden and his administration is all but worthless, the just-released inflation numbers put the lie to Biden’s constant refrain that inflation is improving and only temporary.
As reported by the conservative New York Post newspaper this morning:
“Prices spiked a whopping 6.8 percent in November, compared with the same time last year — the fastest acceleration of inflation the country has seen in 39 years, the feds announced Friday.
“It’s the highest year-over-year reading of the Labor Department’s Consumer Price Index, which measures a basket of goods and services as well as energy and food costs, since 1982, when the country saw surging inflation that sparked year-over-year spikes as high as more than 14 percent.” [emphasis added by RIR]
Significantly, record inflated prices are not just impacting a small number of consumer goods categories. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, there are “broad increases” affecting “most” types of goods.
Translation: No matter what you purchase, you’re feeling the pain of skyrocketing prices. Prices are rising far faster than are the incomes of hard-working Americans.
