(RightIsRight.co) – Throughout American history, Presidents of the United States of America have cherished the opportunity to attend the annual Army-Navy football game. After all, the president is the commander in chief of all military forces and, by tradition, attends the game so the students of the military academies who will soon graduate and be under his command can see him at the game.
This past weekend when the Army-Navy football game was played, and he was first eligible to attend as president, Joe Biden was nowhere to be found. He did not attend the game.
And now, one United States congressman believes he may know why Biden wasn’t present when the game was played on Saturday at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
According to Breitbart News, Rep. Lee Zeldin (R-NY) stated in an interview on SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Sunday with host Joel Pollak:
“‘I don’t know exactly why he did not attend. However, I will say this – and I’ll state it as my opinion, and it could very well be a fact — if President Biden showed up at yesterday’s game, there’s a good possibility that you would have had the largest ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ chant that has taken place.'” [emphasis added by Right Is Right]
