(RightIsRight.co) – Conservatives across the nation woke up to shocking news from Joe Biden: the lame-duck Democrat is honoring former President Bill Clinton by putting his name on a war vessel.
Besides Clinton, Biden is also naming one of two new Navy aircraft carriers after ex-President George W. Bush.
Biden has seemingly tried to tie President-elect Donald Trump’s hands as the announcement comes just days before Trump is set to take office.
Critics argue that the move is a clear attempt to curry favor with the establishment and distract from the disastrous policies that have weakened America’s standing on the world stage.
Biden stated, “When I personally delivered the news to Bill and George, they were deeply humbled…Both know well our duty to support the families and loved ones who wait and worry for the safe return of their service member.”
Although Biden claims both Clinton and Bush were “deeply humbled” by the honor, patriotic Americans are rightfully outraged.
Clinton’s presidency was tainted by scandals and military missteps, including the infamous “Black Hawk Down” incident in Somalia.
The decision to name these powerful warships after such a controversial figure is a slap in the face to true American heroes.
It’s part of a broader pattern of the left rewriting history and elevating globalist leaders who put America last.
Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin also discussed the development, saying, “Aircraft carriers are the centerpiece of America’s naval forces,”
“Like their namesakes, these two future carriers, and the crews who sail them, will work to safeguard our national security, remind us of our history, and inspire others to serve our great republic,” he added.
While Austin is correct about the importance of carriers, he fails to address a critical issue.
These ships should not be named after politicians who advanced shady agendas and engaged in immoral scandals with staff.
The timing of this announcement is particularly suspect. With Trump set to retake the White House, Biden’s rushed decision appears designed to cement his legacy and appease the Washington swamp.
The move has been deemed a blatant attempt to score political points at the expense of the military.
Additionally, these new technologically advanced Gerald R. Ford-class carriers come with a hefty price tag for American taxpayers.
As the liberal media celebrates this move as a nod to “bipartisanship,” true conservatives must see it for what it is: another example of the deep state’s grip on the military and government institutions.
