(RightIsRight.co) – In what many right-minded Americans believe was a stunning display of arrogance, stupidity, and willful disregard for the security of the lawful citizens of the United States of America, Joe Biden’s Department of Homeland Security Secretary, Alejandro Mayorkas, stated in a congressional hearing that “justice” is more important than securing the borders of America against illegal aliens.
Here’s what happened.
During a hearing in the United States Senate, Secretary Mayorkas was asked by U.S. Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR), “What should be a higher priority of the United States Government? Securing our border or giving amnesty to illegal aliens who are already here?”
Shockingly, Mayorkas responded, “Justice is our priority.” And, as Sen. Cotton notes in the video below, by “justice” what Mayorkas means is amnesty for illegal aliens.
Mayorkas went on to say, “That includes securing our border and providing relief [amnesty] to those [illegal aliens] who qualify for it under our laws.”
Going even further, Mayorkas stunned Cotton by stating it’s worse to “promulgate and operationalize a policy that defies our values as a nation” than it is to successfully apprehend illegal aliens the way former President Donald J. Trump did during his time in office.
As one immigration pundit noted, “If Americans have any question as to how and why illegal aliens are flowing across the southern border of the United States like a raging river – bringing diseases and deadly illegal drugs with them – they look no further than the policies of Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and especially Mayorkas who has essentially instituted an open borders environment that forbids the Border Patrol from using tactics that worked under President Trump’s administration.”
