BOMBSHELL: Trump Boots Librarian of Congress

Striking a blow against Obama-era holdovers pushing woke agendas in federal institutions, the Trump administration booted out Librarian of Congress Carla Hayden with a brief email.

See the tweet below.

Conservative groups had criticized Hayden for promoting radical content and books by Trump critics while using her historic position as the first African American woman in the role to advance left-wing causes.

The White House wasted no words in the dismissal, with Deputy Director of White House Personnel Trent Morse writing:

“On behalf of President Donald J. Trump, I am writing to inform you that your position as the Librarian of Congress is terminated effective immediately. Thank you for your service.”

The direct approach shows the administration’s commitment to removing bureaucrats who do not align with its vision.

Hayden, 72, was appointed by Barack Obama in 2016, making her the first new leader of the Library of Congress since 1987.

Despite predictable outrage from Democrats, the firing aligns with Trump’s promise to drain the swamp and remove entrenched officials who resist his America First agenda.

The American Accountability Foundation had previously highlighted concerns about Hayden’s leadership, pointing out her promotion of materials that were hostile to Trump and conservative values.

The group specifically called out her “woke” and “anti-Trump” approach to managing America’s most important library collection.

While Democrats like Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and Representative Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) rushed to condemn the firing, they conveniently ignored Hayden’s record of using the taxpayer-funded institution to advance progressive causes.

Schumer even suggested changing the appointment process to a congressional commission – a transparent attempt to prevent future conservative influence.

Robert Newlen, the principal deputy librarian, will serve as acting librarian until President Trump appoints someone to oversee America’s oldest government-run cultural institution.

Besides, the Library of Congress houses millions of books, documents, and artifacts that tell the story of American greatness.

The firing represents another step in President Trump’s commitment to reshaping the federal government.

After his resounding victory in November, Trump promised supporters he would remove officials not aligned with his mission to Make America Great Again, particularly those installed during the Obama years who have remained entrenched in the bureaucracy.

Hayden’s background as CEO of Baltimore’s Enoch Pratt Free Library from 1993 to 2016 shows her deep ties to Democrat strongholds.

During her tenure as Librarian of Congress, she emphasized digitization and accessibility initiatives that critics say often promoted far-left perspectives while sidelining traditional American values.

The move comes as the administration continues its broader effort to ensure federal institutions serve all Americans rather than advancing partisan agendas.

Patriots across the country have long complained about the leftward drift of cultural institutions under Obama-era appointees, and this decisive action shows Trump is listening.

With this firing, President Trump signals his commitment to ensuring that even America’s cultural institutions reflect the values that made the country great.

The next Librarian of Congress will have the critical task of preserving America’s heritage while respecting the traditional values that built America.
