(RightIsRight.co) – BREAKING NOW: Last evening, after first firing shots in the parking lot of a shopping center, a lone gunman entered a Safeway grocery store in Bend, Oregon, and opened fire on employees and shoppers, killing two individuals before killing himself as police arrived and rushed into the store.
The shooter was found dead when police entered the store, and the police fired no shots.
According to the New York Post:
“A gunman opened fire at an Oregon shopping center Sunday night, leaving two people dead.
“The shooter, who was also found dead, opened fire with an AR-15-style rifle outside a Safeway grocery store at The Forum shopping center in Bend around 7 p.m., according to police.
“Cops received multiple 911 calls of an active shooter near the store beginning at 7:04 p.m., Bend Police Department spokesperson Sheila Miller said during a press briefing.

“The shooter first fired shots into a Big Lots store at the shopping center before moving into the Safeway at the west entrance, she said.
“One victim was shot and killed in the entryway of the grocery store. The second person was fatally shot in the back of the store.”
No details about the shooter have been released at this time.
At least one armed citizen pulled her weapon to defend herself and others. It is unknown if she shot the gunman.
