(RightIsRight.co) – Had it not been for Mike Cernovich bringing this to our attention by means of a tweet that you can see further down this post, we wouldn’t have believed it was true.
After all, who would expect the largest and most influential newspaper in a highly conservative state like Utah to call for the use of martial law to imprison American citizens in their own homes if they don’t prove they are vaccinated by showing their vaccine papers.
But, it’s true.
The editorial board of The Salt Lake Tribune, in an editorial headlined “Utah leaders have surrendered to COVID pandemic,” have done exactly that by saying the National Guard should be called up and used to prohibit the unvaccinated from going “anywhere.”
Specifically, the editorial board, after first criticizing the governor of Utah and his administration for not doing enough to stop the spread of the Omicron variant of COVID-19 in an exceptionally long and detailed editorial, concluded with the following jaw-dropping statement one would expect from a fascist or communist government.
“Were Utah a truly civilized place, the governor’s next move would be to find a way to mandate the kind of mass vaccination campaign we should have launched a year ago, going as far as to deploy the National Guard to ensure that people without proof of vaccination would not be allowed, well, anywhere.” [emphasis added]
Again, this is conservative Utah. Not California, New York, or Massachusetts – but Utah.
