(RightIsRight.co) – BREAKING NOW: The U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade in a decision that will reverberate throughout the United States of America for many years.
Due to the May leak of the Dobbs and Jackson Women’s Health Organization draft opinion, the court’s decision was not surprising. The draft opinion showed that a majority of court members supported Roe.
The reality of the final decision will have ramifications across the country. Individual state legislatures and courts will be deciding whether to retain the right to abort a pre-born child, which has been in place for half a century under Roe.
Many states have passed laws banning abortion in anticipation of Dobb’s decision.
Several others, however, have codified abortion rights beyond what Roe permitted.
