(RightIsRight.co) – Yesterday, during an appearance on Sunday Morning Futures With Maria Bartiromo on the Fox News Channel (watch the video further down this page), former U.S. House Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-GA) said that he believes members of the House Select Committee investigating what took place at the United States Capitol on January 6, 2021, will themselves be put in prison.
According to Gingrich, this will include Congresswoman Liz Cheney (R-WY), who has joined forces with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) in going after former President Donald Trump, Trump’s family, and many of Trump’s top assistants and advisers.
According to Gingrich, the members of the January 6 House Select Committee “face a real risk of jail” when the Republicans take back the House and Senate following this year’s midterm elections.
Gingrich, who believes the committee is breaking laws and “running amok,” said:
“I think when you have a Republican Congress, this is all going to come crashing down, and the wolves are going to find out that they’re now sheep. And they’re the ones who are, in fact, going to, I think, face a real risk of jail for the kind of laws they’re breaking.” [emphasis added]
