(RightIsRight.co) – Brian Laundrie has been the sole person of interest in the murder of 22-year old Gabby Petito, Laundrie’s fiancée who happened to go missing in Wyoming last month. Investigators found Gabby’s body on September 19 in Wyoming’s Grand Teton National Park, just two days after Laundrie’s parents reported him missing from their Florida home. The story only gets murkier from here.
On Wednesday, October 20, after weeks of searching, authorities discovered Laundrie’s remains and some possessions in a Florida reserve after his parents told investigators where to search. However, the family’s attorney, Steven Bertolino said Laundrie’s autopsy didn’t determine a cause of death and that the coroner was sending the remains to an anthropologist for additional testing.
Even MSNBC highlighted how odd this news is:
The Brian Laundrie autopsy results bring even more questions about Gabby Petito's death, @katiephang writes. https://t.co/1m6GSSCTLn

In addition, Bertolino told reporters that the family will not hold a funeral for their son. From Laundrie’s unwillingness to cooperate with authorities from the beginning and the odd timeline involving his family and their hazy cooperation, Americans know little about what truly happened to Gabby Petito and her fiance. Hopefully, investigators bring more evidence to light in order to bring justice and peace to those mourning their loved ones.
