(RightIsRight.co) – In a pair of tweets, Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot issued a “call to arms” to her “friends in the LGBTQ+ community” to fight the United States Supreme Court because she believes the court will be coming for them next.
You can see the two Lightfoot tweets further down this post.
Critics of Lightfoot’s blasted her for suggesting violence against the Supreme Court — even an insurrection — with her incendiary language.
Specifically, Lightfoot wrote: “To my friends in the LGBTQ+ community – the Supreme Court is coming for us next. This moment has to be a call to arms. We will not surrender our rights without a fight — a fight to victory!”
As Fox News noted: “Critics quickly took to social media to blast Lightfoot, with some accusing her of calling for violence, and others arguing former President Donald Trump was impeached for ‘far less.'”
In one just example, “‘Sounds like incitement of insurrection to me,’ former Air Force pilot Buzz Patterson wrote, appearing to mock Democrats and other leftists who frequently use similar phrases to criticize Trump and other Republicans.”
And Texas Scorecard publisher Michael Quinn Sullivan tweeted, “If this isn’t a call to insurrection, what is?”
Noting the horrific level of violence in Chicago, conservative commentator, Matt Walsh, wrote, “Not satisfied with the murders just in her own city, Mayor Lightfoot calls for more violence across the country.”

Given the level of violence in Chicago, including record numbers of homicides, is Lightfoot in a position to be calling on her friends in the LGBTQ+ “community” to battle the Supreme Court?
