(RightIsRight.co) – The events that unfolded on Wednesday, January 6 at Capitol Hill have led to many questions about the next steps for our country. Democrat House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) believe the next move is a radical one: pushing for the immediate removal of President Donald Trump.
Schumer and Pelosi have asked his Vice President Mike Pence to invoke the 25th amendment to remove Trump from office. In a statement on Thursday, January 7, the top Democrats accused Trump of “dangerous and seditious acts” even though the president asked his supporters on Wednesday to “go home in peace.”
Schumer continued his attack on Trump through the following statement:

Our country needs to come together, and President Trump wants to lead the way. But, this latest move from top Democrats only seeks to further divide our country when we need to begin healing the wounds of this week.
