(RightIsRight.co) – For months, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo (D) has been in the spotlight as women have come forward with allegations of sexual harassment against him. But, it turns out that his brother, CNN anchor Chris Cuomo, has been advising the governor in question about how to deal with the scandal. Understandably, many media personalities are speaking out against this inappropriate and unprofessional scheme.
A May 20 Washington Post report showed that the Cuomo brothers had been speaking to each other during conference calls with lawyers and outside advisors about how to deal with the claims against the New York governor. Chris Cuomo even apologized for the discussions that evening on his show, calling them “a mistake.”
Even though this type of communication is clearly frowned upon in the news world, CNN apparently does not have any written policies about it and does not plan to punish the prime-time personality for his lack of discretion.
Radio host and podcaster Buck Sexton called the network out for its poor ethics:

A fellow CNN host joined the calls criticizing Cuomo’s actions, making it all the more clear that the news station has many issues to iron out before it can be considered reliable.
