(RightIsRight.co) – Many people choose to criticize politicians, which we thankfully have the right to do in this country. However, it’s un-American to circulate sexualized photos of someone in an attempt to discredit that person. Thankfully, upstanding citizens and media outlets often stand up for those under attack. This week, a Colorado newspaper came to the defense of GOP Representative Lauren Boebert (R-CO) as critics posted “sexist” and “elitist” posts of her on social media.
On Wednesday, January 20, the Denver Post’s editorial board defended Boebert as she was allegedly attacked by people who posted sexist photos of her along with captions attacking her education and actions. The article called the critics “disgusting” and “unprofessional” to attack Boebert in this way.
Boebert pushed back against the appalling attacks on Twitter, as well:
The Democrats want to exhaust my time and my resources to get me to back down.
What they don’t realize is these attacks are only solidifying my base and adding more support.
The people know I’m here for them.

The Post highlighted the fact that these attacks “alienate” Americans who have also not attended college or graduated high school. Thankfully, there are still media sources in our nation dedicated to a healthy and moral dialogue when it comes to politics and politicians.
