(RightIsRight.co) – Speculation around whether former President Donald Trump will run for president again in 2024 has run wild over recent months. The 45th president has stayed clear of making any comments or actions that would force him to announce his candidacy. But, a new report out of Iowa strongly hints Trump may be preparing to run again.
On Thursday, August 12, an aide with Save America, Trump’s political action committee, confirmed the organization hired senior political advisors Eric Branstad and Alex Latcham. These two have a long history with President Trump and Republican politics, but are also experts when it comes to the state of Iowa.
Iowa is key in this instance because it’s the first state to caucus, meaning candidates get a major popularity boost if they win Iowa early in the primary season. The Des Moines Register shared what this hiring could mean:
It's a possible indication that former President Donald Trump is keeping his ties to the first-in-the-nation caucus state fresh. https://t.co/3hzBUjzsNn

Whatever Republican wins the Iowa primary will likely be a front runner for the party. There’s still no confirmation Trump will enter the 2024 race. However, this hiring is a good indicator it’s still an option for the former commander-in-chief and that, no matter what, he’s still committed to putting America first.
