(RightIsRight.co) – When shutdowns first hit the US in March 2020, Americans were unsure of what to expect from the pandemic. Many trusted US National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Director Dr. Anthony Fauci’s guidance at first on how to remain safe from the virus. But as time went on, his true colors emerged. Over a year later, Americans have seen the lies and deception used by Fauci throughout the pandemic, and GOP lawmakers are ready to fight back.
On Tuesday, July 20, Representative Madison Cawthorn (R-NC) spoke with Newsmax about Fauci’s ongoing lie to Congress that the United States did not financially support ‘gain of function’ research in a Wuhan lab, despite a research paper that implies the government was involved. Cawthorn noted that Fauci’s dishonesty surrounding coronavirus has “shackled entire states” and stolen “years of development away from young children” whose lives were disrupted by the pandemic.
Cawthorn also called Fauci a “punk who is trying to further his own career.” Newsmax highlighted more of Cawthorn’s words on Twitter and shared the full interview:

Moving forward, Cawthorn hopes Big Tech will reinstate those who were previously kicked off their platforms for discussing the Wuhan lab leak theory. Lawmakers also want Fauci to face legal consequences for his manipulation of US citizens and the lies he told Congress. If Republicans are able to take back Congress during the 2022 midterms, there’s a good chance such actions could be successful.
