Elon Musk Ordered THIS at Twitter On Day One

Elon Musk

(RightIsRight.co) – The world’s richest person, Elon Musk, has ordered massive layoffs at Twitter after he took over the social media platform at the end of last week, reports claim.

Immediately after finalizing the $44 billion deal, Musk moved to request a review of the Twitter employees known as largely left-leaning, Breitbart News reported.

The billionaire’s plans for large-scale layoffs at Twitter were revealed by three unnamed sources in a report by The New York Times.

The sources said some departments would be downsized more than others after Elon Musk officially became Twitter’s new owner.

They added that managers of the social media platform had been requested to compile lists of employees that should be let go.

For the time being, there is no clarity as to how many of Twitter’s 7,500 employees will be laid off.

Breitbart points out that the microblogging platform “has too many employees for its level of revenue according to Silicon Valley wisdom.”

Moreover, it “has an employee base comprised of radical leftists,” some of whom have already sent Musk an open letter to demand that their jobs be preserved.

“I was told to expect somewhere around 50% of people will be laid off,” said Ross Gerber, the chief executive of Gerber Kawasaki Wealth and Investment Management.

According to the NYT’s sources, Elon Musk was planning to fire the employees before November 1, when they were supposed to get stock grants as part of their compensation.

Even if that happens, as per the merger agreement, Musk is expected to pay the workers in cash to replace their stock.

Last week, the world’s richest person visited Twitter’s headquarters in San Francisco and began to hold meetings with employees.

On Thursday, he fired CEO Parag Agrawal, CFO Ned Segal, and Vijaya Gadde, head of “trust and safety.”

Gadde has been “notorious for her fanatical left-wing censorship campaign, which included suspending former President Donald Trump’s account.”

Besides that, Musk’s engineers from Tesla reviewed Twitter’s software code to lock out the social media platform’s engineers to prevent them from making any last-minute changes.

There is a high chance that Musk would assume the formal title of Twitter’s CEO. He is also expected to kill “lifetime bans” for blacklisted users such as former President Donald Trump.
