(RightIsRight.co) – In a stunning rebuke to the Democrat ticket, former Vice-Presidential candidate Tim Walz could not even secure a win in his own home county.
Donald Trump emerged victorious in Blue Earth County, Minnesota, exposing the deep-seated dissatisfaction with liberal policies and the growing appeal of conservative values.
Trump garnered 49.6% of the vote in Blue Earth County, while Harris and her running mate Walz trailed behind with a mere 48.3%.
This marks a significant shift from the 2020 election when Joe Biden narrowly won the county with 51% of the vote.
Walz, who spent 20 years as a teacher and coach in Blue Earth County, could not rally enough support in the place he once called home.
His defeat in familiar territory speaks volumes about the disconnect between Democrat leadership and everyday Americans.
Walz’s attempts to position himself as a moderate voice in politics fell flat with voters who are tired of empty promises and political double-speak.
In addition, Walz’s credibility was severely hit during the campaign when he was accused of violating the Stolen Valor Act.
The Trump campaign rightfully called out the Minnesota governor for past misstatements about his military service, including allegations of lying about being deployed to an active war zone. When confronted, Walz weakly claimed he “misspoke” due to emotional expression.
Despite Minnesota’s long history of supporting Democrat candidates – not having voted for a Republican president since Richard Nixon in 1972 – Trump’s message is clearly resonating with voters who feel left behind by liberal policies.
As the dust settles on this historic election, Walz has been conspicuously absent from public view.
He has made no appearances or social media posts since Trump’s resounding reelection.
Meanwhile, President-elect Trump is already rolling up his sleeves and ready to get back to work, making America great again.
