Fauci-Backed Researcher Makes Disturbing Admission Regarding Wuhan Lab

(RightIsRight.co) – When the coronavirus pandemic caught the world by storm last year, there were more questions than answers for most people. As days-long shutdowns turned to weeks and months, Americans heard different narratives surrounding the origins of COVID-19 and just who was responsible. Even now, the world is learning new things about just what happened in Wuhan, China when the outbreak began.

On Wednesday, June 23, the National Pulse published its findings after digging into a November 22, 2015 podcast with Dr. Ralph Baric, a researcher who worked with Chinese scientists on a bat coronavirus experiment. According to article author Natalie Winters, Baric worked with “bat woman” Shi Zhengli on their paper entitled “A SARS-like Cluster of Circulating Bat Coronaviruses Shows Potential for Human Emergence.”

One American shared a bit about the research on Twitter:

The paper apparently discusses how the National Institute of Health (NIH) helped fund the research, which did include “elected Gain-of-Function research involving Influenza, MERS and SARS Viruses” before the US government banned it in 2014. This directly contradicts Dr. Anthony Fauci’s claims that the US never supported gain-of-function research, which effectively allows a virus to mutate so scientists can predict its patterns in the future.

While there’s a possibility that the US did fund some kind of gain-of-function research through the NIH, that does not directly reveal any new insight about the origins of COVID-19. It does, however, continue to bring to light Dr. Fauci’s lack of transparency and honesty, and it causes many Americans to wonder what else the nation’s “top disease expert” could be hiding.
