(RightIsRight.co) – In a critical effort to dismantle transnational crime, federal agents executed a powerful raid on an Adams County event believed to be linked with the notorious Tren de Aragua (TdA) cartel.
The DEA took decisive action in the early hours of Sunday morning along the 6600 block of Federal Boulevard, Adams County, Colorado.
Nearly 50 illegals suspected of affiliations with the TdA cartel, a notorious Venezuelan gang, were detained during a meticulously planned raid.
This operation aimed to dismantle criminal networks operating under the guise of an exclusive, invitation-only gang event.
Illegal aliens found at the party now rest in the custody of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
Likewise, authorities have intensified action against these crimes, signifying an important collaboration among federal and local law enforcement agencies.
Many of those arrested have been identified as members or associates of the Tren de Aragua gang.
The operation started at approximately 9 p.m. on Saturday and culminated with federal agents executing a search warrant at a vacant property known for nefarious gatherings at around 3 a.m.
Drugs such as crack, cocaine, and a substance known as “pink cocaine,” along with money and weapons, were seized during this operation.
This raid is part of a broader DEA investigation targeting the Venezuelan gang, continuing long-term campaigns in Denver.
The operation, conducted by the DEA’s Rocky Mountain Field Division and local Denver law enforcement agencies, was strategically planned to impact the “makeshift nightclub” used by TdA gang members.
Federal Boulevard’s northbound lanes were closed to ensure public safety and the operation’s effectiveness.
Special Agent in Charge Jonathan Pullen remarked:
“What we’re here today for was an ongoing DEA investigation. As you know, we’ve been targeting the TdA. DEA has been working on TdA for a number of months here in Denver, and so this was a part of that long-term operation.”
“TdA affiliated gang members and associates sent out invitations over social media to come to a party at this location tonight,” Pullen said.
As investigations continue, authorities are determined to unravel these criminal networks infiltrating American communities.
The developing story promises updates on how these arrests will influence future operations and the broader landscape of drug-related crime in the United States.
