(RightIsRight.co) – Each and every day across the United States of America, hard-working Americans get up and go out to make an honest living so they can afford to provide for themselves and their families.
Included in that group of Americans are immigrants who played by the rules, entered the country legally, became citizens, and, just like natural-born Americans, work hard so they can live the American Dream.
One of the necessities of life they work hard to pay for is healthcare and health insurance.
Imagine how they feel – we all feel – when they learn that California Governor Gavin Newsom and the state of California are giving free healthcare coverage to ALL ILLEGAL ALIENS.
As reported by the AP:
“California would be the first state to provide health coverage to all immigrants in the country illegally under the budget Gov. Gavin Newsom proposed Monday…
“The most populous state has made great strides in reducing its uninsured population in recent years, but the largest single group left behind under the state’s Medicaid program are low-income residents in the country illegally.
“The state began covering immigrants 26 and under in 2019, and those 55 and older last year. Now Newsom wants state lawmakers to cover the remainder, starting no sooner than Jan. 1, 2024.” [emphasis added]
