GOP Investigation of Bidens Intensifies

James Comer

( – The new Republican majority in the US House of Representatives is already intensifying its efforts to investigate President Joe Biden, First Son Hunter Biden, and the business dealings of the Biden family, a report informs.

The investigation is spearheaded by the new chair of the House Oversight Committee, Republican US Rep. James Comer of Kentucky.

On Wednesday, Comer moved to send letters to three former executives of Twitter, asking to appear during a committee hearing on February 6, Politico reported, as cited by Newsmax.

His letter comes after, in December, internal Twitter documents leaked to independent journalists by the company’s new owner Elon Musk exposed Big Tech’s collusion with the Democrats, the FBI, and the 2020 Biden presidential campaign.

The internal records showed that, among other matters, they conspired to censor revelations from Hunter Biden’s lost “laptop from hell,” which may have guaranteed Trump’s victory in the 2020 election.

The report identified the three former top Twitter execs contacted by Rep. James Comer as the former deputy general counsel James Baker, the former global head of trust and safety Yoel Roth, and the former chief legal officer Vijaya Gadde.

Gadde and Roth have been particularly notorious for promoting a progressivist Marxist agenda in Twitter’s “moderating.” Baker is a former long-time FBI employee who was involved in the DOJ investigations of the debunked claims of former President Donald Trump’s “collusion” with Putin’s Russia.

The House Oversight Committee hearing would look into the three former Twitter executives’ “role in suppressing Americans’ access to information about the Biden family on Twitter shortly before the 2020 election.”

According to Politico, Comer has given them until January 18 to confirm their presence in the February 6 hearing. In the letter, he chastised them for not responding to earlier testimony requests.

Meanwhile, a report by The Washington Examiner revealed Comer had contacted Biden’s Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen with demands that her department provides the House Oversight Committee with bank reports on suspicious activity connected with Hunter Biden and his business partners.

“For the past two years, the Biden Administration and Big Tech worked overtime to hide information about the Biden family’s suspicious business schemes and Joe Biden’s involvement,” Comer declared in a statement on Wednesday.

“Now that Democrats no longer have one-party rule in Washington, oversight and accountability are coming,” he added.

The Treasury Department had previously snubbed Comer’s requests to the same end, stating its policy was to provide reports only to the committee chair.

“I now make these requests pursuant to my authority as Chairman of the Committee on Oversight and Accountability,” Comer emphasized in his letter to Yellen.

“For years, the Biden family peddled influence and access around the world for profit, often at the expense of our nation’s interests. The American people must know the extent of Joe Biden’s involvement in his family’s shady business deals and if these deals threaten national security and his decision-making as president,” Comer’s statement elaborated.

Leaked materials have shown that during his father’s terms as Vice President, Hunter Biden has done lucrative business deals with officials linked with the Chinese Communist Party and some of the top oligarchs of Putin’s Russia. He was also employed by the energy company Burisma, owned by a Ukrainian oligarch tied to former president Viktor Yanukovych, a well-known puppet of Putin and Moscow.
