(RightIsRight.co) – It’s only a matter of time before what just happened in San Jose, California, comes to every community in the United States of America controlled by the socialists and communists who dominate the Democrat Party these days.
According to CBS News:
“[San Jose, California] voted Tuesday night to require gun owners to carry liability insurance and pay an annual fee, in what’s believed to be the first measure of its kind in the United States.
“The San Jose City Council overwhelmingly approved the measure despite opposition from gun owners who said it would violate their Second Amendment rights and promised to sue.
“The Silicon Valley city of about 1 million followed a trend of other Democratic-led cities that have sought to rein in violence through stricter rules. But while similar laws have been proposed, San Jose is the first city to pass one, according to Brady United, a national nonprofit that advocates against gun violence.” [emphasis added]
The first sentence of that last paragraph is accurate. It should serve as a warning to all reasonable Americans who cherish and believe in the Second Amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America. Let there be no doubt that Democrats want to make it so burdensome and expensive to own a firearm for self-defense that some hard-working Americans will be in even more danger.
San Jose is just the first step and a test case.
The Democrats want to make what San Jose did – and much, much more – the law of the land, and they don’t care one iota about the Second Amendment.
