(RightIsRight.co) – For most people, scooping up a bowl of ice cream has little worry associated with it. But, for citizens in China, consuming Chinese-produced frozen products just got a bit scarier.
According to officials in the Tianjin municipality in China, three samples of ice cream from Tianjin Daqiaodao Food Co. tested positive for COVID-19. Officials believe thousands of cartons of ice cream were contaminated, hundreds of which were already distributed to Chinese stores. Authorities don’t believe any of the product was shipped outside of China.
This comes as the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) continues to push the origin story of coronavirus outside of its borders. The CCP has hesitated for months to allow a team of scientists from the World Health Organization (WHO) to investigate the virus in-country. Meanwhile, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo shared new information that questions China’s laboratories and handling of the COVID-19 virus.

This latest story simply magnifies China’s lack of transparency about coronavirus, and it shows we must continue to question and pressure the Chinese government about its propaganda and handling of the global pandemic.
