(RightIsRight.co) – The Minneapolis Police Department finds itself at the forefront of the news, as they come to the defense of its officers once again. On December 30, 2020, police officers shot and killed 23-year-old Dolal Idd. Although released body camera footage shows Idd ramming his car into police vehicles and firing at the officers first, far-left Representative Ilhan Omar (D-MN) called the incident “state sanctioned murder,” choosing to ignore the facts at hand.
Author Stephen Miller shared Omar’s tweet about the incident, but pointed out where she went wrong in her logic:

Minneapolis Police Chief Medaria Arradondo confirmed both the bodycam footage and numerous officer and bystander reports agree that Idd shot first.
Many citizens who support our police force asked Omar what exactly she would like officers to do if someone were to ram a car into theirs and then fire at them. In this instance, the police officers acted justifiably by returning fire. The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension will fully investigate the incident.
As our country continues to put itself back together after the treacherous year we just finished, we must move forward with respect for our heroes in uniform and a commitment to seek both truth and justice.
