Is Lindsey Graham a Turncoat?

(RightIsRight.co) – For many years, United States Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) had the reputation of being nothing more than the yes-man for United States Senator John McCain (R-AZ).

Whatever the now-deceased McCain said, Graham echoed. Whatever policy position McCain took, Graham took the same position.

Once McCain died, Graham suddenly became a strong supporter of Trump even though Trump and McCain were personal and political enemies.

Now, leaked audio recordings of Graham from January 6, 2021, as protesters entered the United States Capitol, reveal that Graham suddenly decided he would side with Joe Biden over Donald Trump.

As Conservative Brief recounts in “Leaked Audio Shows Lindsey Graham Praising Biden Before Inauguration“:

“Republican South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham was heard on tapes praising President Joe Biden during the incident at the Capitol last year.

“In the tapes obtained by CNN, Graham is heard praising the incoming president as he was in a secure location.”

What did Graham actually say? Here is a small sampling:

“We will actually come out of this thing stronger. Moments like this reset.”
“It’ll take a while. People will calm down. People will [say] ‘I don’t want to be associated with that.’ This is a group within a group. What this does, it’ll be a rallying effect for a while, where the country says, ‘We’re better than this.'”
“[Joe Biden will] be maybe the best person to have, right? I mean, how mad can you get at Joe Biden?”
