(RightIsRight.co) – Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kristi Noem plans to prosecute two staff members responsible for leaking sensitive information about ICE operations, putting lives at risk.

Secretary Noem announced the discovery in a statement that outlined the severity of their actions and the threats they posed to American law enforcement. These saboteurs will face felony charges and up to 10 years in federal prison.

“We have identified two leakers of information here at the Department of Homeland Security who have been telling individuals about our operations and putting law enforcement lives in jeopardy,” Noem declared.

She added, “We plan to prosecute these two individuals and hold them accountable for what they’ve done.”

DHS spokeswoman Tricia McLaughlin confirmed the serious legal consequences awaiting the leakers.

“We are preparing to refer these perpetrators to the DOJ for felony prosecutions. These individuals face up to 10 years in federal prison. We will find and root out all leakers. They will face prison time, and we will get justice for the American people.”

The unauthorized disclosures directly sabotaged planned immigration enforcement actions, including raids in Los Angeles and Aurora, Colorado.

In the Aurora operation, members of the Venezuelan prison gang Tren de Aragua were tipped off about the impending raid, allowing dangerous criminals to escape justice.

The operation targeted over 100 illegal aliens, but only five were apprehended.

Border Czar Tom Homan did not mince words about where these leaks might be originating from.

“We think it’s coming from inside. You’re not only giving the bad guys a heads-up so they can escape apprehension… you’re putting officers’ lives at risk,” Homan stated.

Even more troubling, Homan added, “Some of the information we are receiving tends to lead toward the FBI.”

Attorney General Pam Bondi emphasized the administration’s zero-tolerance approach to such betrayals:

“Well, you know, if anyone leaks anything, people don’t understand that it jeopardizes the lives of our great men and women in law enforcement, and if you leaked it, we will find out who you are, and we will come after you…”

Moreover, the administration’s frustration with the pace of deportations has been mounting since President Trump took office in January.

During Trump’s first month in office, 37,660 people were deported – a figure that falls below the monthly average during the Biden administration, which allowed the border crisis to spiral out of control.

In response to these challenges, Noem has made leadership changes at ICE, appointing Todd Lyons as acting ICE director and Madison Sheahan as deputy director.

These appointments follow the reassignment of ICE’s previous acting director and two other top officials amid frustrations over immigration arrest rates.

Moreover, the DHS is taking extraordinary measures to prevent future leaks. “The Department of Homeland Security is a national security agency. We can, should, and will polygraph personnel,” spokesperson McLaughlin stated.

Ultimately, the identification and prosecution of these leakers represent a crucial step toward fulfilling President Trump’s promise to secure the borders and protect American communities from dangerous criminal aliens.
