Law-and-Order Sheriff Enters Race for Governor

(RightIsRight.co) – Shaking up the gubernatorial race in the liberal stronghold, law-and-order Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco has launched his 2026 campaign.

Bianco’s bold move promises to make waves in the Democrat-controlled state with a focus on fighting crime, lowering taxes, and restoring common sense to Sacramento.

Known for his unwavering stance on law enforcement and public safety, Bianco announced his candidacy for California governor, positioning himself as the conservative champion the state desperately needs.

Bianco’s campaign launch drew hundreds of supporters, signaling a groundswell of enthusiasm for his no-nonsense approach to governance.

“I am here to announce our campaign for governor of California. I’m running for governor of our beautiful state, which I absolutely love (because it’s) heading down the wrong track and has been for years,” Bianco declared at his campaign kickoff event.

Bianco’s platform centers on combating the rampant crime, high taxes, and skyrocketing cost of living that have plagued California under Democrat leadership.

He advocates for Proposition 36, which would reform criminal sentencing laws and increase penalties for theft and fentanyl dealing in order to address the state’s growing drug crisis head-on.

Bianco declared:

“It is only our Democrat-elected officials who are responsible for the decline of California. Rampant crime, higher taxes, the highest cost of living in our nation, tent encampments in every major city, more fentanyl deaths, catastrophic fires, a broken homeowners’ insurance market and people across our state are struggling to afford groceries and gas.”

As a staunch supporter of President Donald Trump and a critic of liberal policies, Bianco has earned a reputation as a fearless defender of conservative values.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, he stood up against mask mandates and curfews, prioritizing personal freedom over government overreach.

His stance on immigration aligns with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, promising to tackle the border crisis that Sacramento has long ignored.

Bianco’s campaign emphasizes the need for an honest, ethical governor with integrity.

He promises to bring transparency, lower taxes, and less government waste to California in contrast to Gavin Newsom’s administration.

U.S. Representative Ken Calvert (R-CA) stated, “Common sense and competence are needed in Sacramento. That’s what President (Donald) Trump has brought to Washington and it’s what Chad Bianco will bring to Sacramento.”

As the 2026 gubernatorial race heats up, Bianco faces potential challengers, including rumored Democrat candidates like Kamala Harris and former Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa.

However, with California’s top-two primary system, Bianco stands a strong chance of advancing to the general election and offering voters a true alternative to the failed policies of the past.

The primary election is scheduled for June 2, 2026, with the general election following on November 3.

As California continues to grapple with crime, homelessness, and economic challenges, Bianco’s candidacy offers hope for conservatives and moderates alike who are ready to see real change in the Golden State.
