Liberal Mayor Begs For National Guard – To Deal With THIS?

Illegal Aliens Being Bused Across the U.S.

( – In one of the more ironic developments involving illegal immigration in recent memory, Muriel Bowser, the liberal Democrat mayor of Washington, DC, has requested Joe Biden’s White House and the United States Department of Defense to authorize a call-up of the National Guard to help her with the thousands of illegal aliens that have been bused to D.C. by the governors of Texas and Arizona.

As Newsmax recounts in, “D.C. Mayor Requests National Guard Help With Busloads of Migrants”:

“The District of Columbia has requested National Guard assistance to help stem a ‘growing humanitarian crisis’ prompted by thousands of migrants that have been sent to Washington by Texas and Arizona.

“Mayor Muriel Bowser formally asked the White House last week for an open-ended deployment of 150 National Guard members per day as well as a ‘suitable federal location’ for a mass housing and processing center, mentioning the D.C. Armory as a logical candidate.” [emphasis added]

Bowser is getting no sympathy from Texas or Arizona.

“In her letter, Bowser harshly criticizes Abbott and Ducey, accusing them of ‘cruel political gamesmanship’ and saying the pair had ‘decided to use desperate people to score political points.’

“A spokeswoman for Abbot told the Washington Examiner that the D.C. area now can understand how residents along the border have had to cope with the illegal immigration issue. Texas has had to deploy 10,000 of its own National Guard and state troopers to aid with border security in the past year.” [emphasis added]

There’s been no word yet as to whether the Biden administration will approve Bowser’s request for the National Guard.

What is your opinion? Do you approve of Governors Abbott and Ducey sending illegal aliens to Washington DC, so D.C. can experience what the states along the border with Mexico are experiencing on a much larger scale?
