(RightIsRight.co) – Discussing the assassination attempt on her husband, former First Lady Melania Trump called for efforts to “uncover the truth” about the harrowing incident.

The 34-second video, which Melania posted just before Donald Trump’s debate with Kamala Harris, concluded with a promotional plug for her upcoming memoir, titled Melania.
“The attempt to end my husband’s life was a horrible, distressing experience,” she begins.
“Now, the silence around it feels heavy. I can’t help but wonder: Why didn’t law enforcement officials arrest the shooter before the speech? she continued.
“There’s definitely more to this story, and we need to uncover the truth,” Melania added.
Notably, just days immediately following the attack, the former first lady issued a formal statement: “When I watched that violent bullet strike my husband, Donald, I realized my life, and Barron’s life, were on the brink of devastating change.”
“I am grateful to the brave secret service agents and law enforcement officials who risked their own lives to protect my husband,” she recounted.
The attempt on Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s life occurred on July 13 in Butler, Pennsylvania, when 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks fired shots at him.
Crooks managed to fire eight shots from a rooftop about 164 yards away before being taken down by counter snipers.
He managed to graze Trump’s ear, kill a rallygoer and injure two other bystanders.
The aftermath led to the resignation of then-Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle and the suspension of five agents.
This week, reports emerged that assistant director Michael Plati was asked to retire due to the incident.
