MSM Poll Brings Trump Good News

(RightIsRight.co) – Former President Donald Trump is getting even more good news, as a recent poll from the New York Times and Siena College revealed that he is leading Joe Biden by 3% points following the Democrat’s turbulent debate performance last week.

Trump now holds a 49% to 43% lead, marking the largest margin recorded by the presumptive Republican nominee in a Times/Siena poll since 2015. Among registered voters, Trump leads even more significantly at 49% to 41%.

The poll, conducted among 1,532 registered voters from June 28 to July 2, was released less than a week after Biden and Trump clashed in their first debate ahead of the November election.

The number of independents remained basically the same, at 72% who want a different nominee and about 20% who want Biden.

Moreover, Biden’s performance in the debate has sent shockwaves through the Democratic Party, which prompted lawmakers to confront a crisis that could potentially disrupt the presidential election and alter American history.

Despite concerns raised by his debate delivery, which highlighted questions about Biden’s age and fitness for office, the Democrat has indicated his intention to continue competing against Trump.

However, Democrats are grappling with the profound implications of the election, which they argue pose fundamental challenges to American democracy, all while debating the leadership of their 81-year-old standard-bearer.

According to the poll, 60% of registered voters believe there should be a different Democratic nominee for president, with only 31% favoring Biden.

Similarly, 51% of respondents expressed a preference for a different Republican nominee, compared to 42% who supported Trump remaining the nominee.

The poll’s margin of sampling error among registered voters is plus or minus 2.8% points.
