(RightIsRight.co) – Hunter Biden’s last chance at escaping justice just slipped through his fingers as his father refused to pardon him even during his lame-duck period.
White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre confirmed that Joe Biden has no plans to pardon Hunter during the final months of his tenure.
“We’ve been asked that question multiple times and our answer stands — which is no,” Jean-Pierre stated.
This revelation comes as Hunter awaits sentencing in December for multiple felony charges, including illegal gun possession and tax evasion.
The Biden administration’s insistence on not interfering with Hunter’s legal troubles has been perceived as suspiciously convenient.
It is as if they are trying to distance themselves from the scandals that have plagued the Biden family for years.
Hunter’s legal woes stem from a 2018 gun purchase while he was battling drug addiction, resulting in three felony charges.
Additionally, he faces three felony tax offenses and six misdemeanor offenses related to tax evasion.
Some have argued that Hunter’s sentencing in December, just before President Biden’s term ends, could allow the administration to sweep this embarrassment under the rug before the next election cycle begins in earnest.
When Biden publicly stated in June that he would not pardon or commute a potential prison sentence for Hunter, skeptical Americans saw it as nothing more than political theater.
The move was thought to be a scheme to appear tough on crime while potentially setting the stage for a last-minute pardon that the mainstream media would undoubtedly downplay.
