After all, during a press conference just a little while ago, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, a California Democrat, declared the Democrats have “saved the planet.”
No, seriously, she said it, and you can watch her say it in the video clip just a bit further down this post.
While holding her weekly press conference and with just weeks to go before the congressional midterm elections that could remove her from being Speaker if the Democrats lose the House as most pollsters are predicting, Pelosi delivered a recitation of what she claims the Democrats have accomplished while she, Joe Biden and Chuck Schumer have been in charge of the House, the presidency and the Senate.
Contained within that recitation was the following statement as Pelosi discussed the environment:
“And, we saved the planet. We’re saving the planet with a record $360 Billion to save the planet, generating jobs and cleaner air and cleaner water and jobs and security for our country.”
