(RightIsRight.co) – Mainstream media and “woke” celebrities often speak as if they’re talking for all Americans. Similarly, the Left has pushed a culture that attempts to eliminate points of view other than their own. But, it turns out most Americans actually don’t agree with these viewpoints or actions.
A new survey done by Survey Monkey and Public Opinion Strategies shows that 65% of Americans believe companies have “taken political correctness too far.” This survey was not limited to Conservatives, though. Of the many Democrats who took the poll, 47% of them agreed cancel culture needs to be limited and controlled.
Editor and columnist Josh Hammer shared the poll’s results on Twitter:
Some very interesting data in this Harvard-Harris poll (h/t @JonSchweppe).
TL;DR the American people are, broadly speaking, very worried about cancel culture and Big Tech overreach. https://t.co/BTbhOfdFk0

This latest poll comes shortly after Disney dropped actress Gina Carano from the hit Star Wars show The Mandalorian after she shared her views on the current political climate. As a well-loved movie star has now lost her job over a few words written on social media, it’s no wonder most Americans believe cancel culture has gone too far.
