(RightIsRight.co) – Seemingly, no issue roils American politics the way immigration divides one major political party from the other.
For decades, Republicans and Democrats have been unable to create legislation to address the problems associated with millions of illegal aliens attempting to cross into the United States of America in violation of current law.
And once again, today, the political battle over illegal immigration is front and center as a protest is underway at the United States Supreme Court while, at the same time, the Justices hear arguments in a critical immigration case.
As Breitbart sets the scene:
“Open borders activists are holding a “#SafeNotStranded Rally” outside the U.S. Supreme Court Tuesday to demand an end to America’s “Remain in Mexico” immigration policy.
“The Supreme Court is slated to hear a case Tuesday that will determine whether President Joe Biden illegally ended the Migration Protection Protocols, known as former President Trump’s “Remain in Mexico” program — a program that helped effectively eliminate the policy of Catch and Release at the U.S.-Mexico border, reports Breitbart News’ John Binder.” [emphasis added]
As for the #SafeNotStranded Rally participants:
“According to Tuesday’s “#SafeNotStranded Rally” event RSVP page, activists want an end to the ‘dehumanizing, draconian, Trump-era immigration policy. [sic] that has withheld the right to seek asylum from thousands of people, subjecting them to the abject horrors of dangerous conditions, kidnapping, rape, and worse.’” [emphasis added]
Bottom line: They are demanding what amounts to a complete and total opening of the borders of the United States of America.
