(RightIsRight.co) – President Donald Trump made enormous strides for our nation, from protecting our freedoms and ensuring national security to upholding our conservative values. In light of this, two lawmakers in Ohio’s House of Representatives hope to commemorate Trump’s accomplishments by making his birthday, June 14, into a holiday.
GOP representatives Jon Cross and Reggie Stoltzfus emailed their colleagues in the state legislature with their request to make June 14 “President Donald J. Trump Day.” Currently, that day is nationally celebrated as Flag Day.
Ohio statehouse reporter Andrew Tobias shared the email gathering support on Twitter:
State Reps. Reggie Stoltzfus and Jon Cross are looking for co-sponsors for a resolution declaring June 14 "President Donald J. Trump Day." That's Trump's Birthday, and fun fact, it's also Flag Day. pic.twitter.com/SHEW4bYUHm

These lawmakers truly recognize the enormous work President Trump did, and continues to do, for our nation. As Trump won the state in both 2016 and 2020, this proposal could quickly garner enough support to pass. So, although his first term is over, this move from Ohio lawmakers is another confirmation that the incredible movement Trump started is only just beginning.
