(RightIsRight.co) – The People’s Republic of China continues its economic espionage against the United States in order to undermine our economy and boost its own. A former Ohio resident recently pleaded guilty to stealing and selling medical trade secrets from the local research institute where he and his wife worked.
On Friday, December 11, the Department of Justice (DOJ) released a statement outlining Yu Zhou’s attempts to steal and sell research about pediatric medicine and to commit wire fraud. Zhou and his wife personally profited from the research they performed at Nationwide Children’s Hospital by establishing their own company in China to sell the trade secrets.

Over the past few years, multiple researchers have been arrested for their involvement in attempts to steal and sell research to the Chinese government. Assistant Attorney General for National Security John C. Demers highlighted the dangerous game China is playing. There are many things China is unable to produce themselves, so they resort to stealing our cutting-edge information and products instead.
We must stand against this threat to our prosperity to safeguard our future from Communist China. This behavior will not be tolerated in the US.
