(RightIsRight.co) – Since taking office, President Joe Biden and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) have slammed each other time and again over their differences in opinion on how to handle the coronavirus. This week was no different after DeSantis used some powerful words against the president, highlighting the fact that it’s actually his administration, not DeSantis’ policies, that have allowed the coronavirus infection to spread.
On Tuesday, August 3, President Biden told GOP governors like DeSantis to “get out of the way” to let the federal government clamp down on coronavirus through mask and vaccine mandates. However, DeSantis shot back on Wednesday, August 4, highlighting how the president has “imported more virus from around the world by having a wide-open southern border.” The Florida governor repeatedly told President Biden he will, in fact, stand in the way of the government restricting the rights of his citizens.

DeSantis told Biden he will not listen to one more “blip about COVID” as long as he continues to mishandle the US-Mexico border crisis. These strong words from DeSantis showed his constituents and Conservatives all across the nation that he’s still committed to protecting their freedoms and a normal, mask-free school year for Florida children and families who want it.
