(RightIsRight.co) – Conservatives across the nation have been eagerly anticipating just who will be on the Republican ticket in 2024. With speculation still out on former President Donald Trump, many GOP members have been wondering if Florida Governor Ron DeSantis would make a run for the ticket. But, former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows doesn’t think he will.
On Monday, June 21, the Washington Examiner released an exclusive interview with Meadows about the 2024 race. It highlighted DeSantis’ popularity after leading Florida so well through the coronavirus pandemic. Yet, Meadows emphasized the governor has been “very, very clear” that he’ll focus on his reelection campaign for Florida rather than a White House bid.
White House correspondent for the DC Examiner shared his thoughts:
NEW: Ron DeSantis squeaked past Donald Trump in the Western Conservative Summit's 2024 straw poll
So why does @MarkMeadows think he'll clear the field if Trump declares?https://t.co/Z3WYQeKiIn

Meadows does believe Trump will run again in 2024, but he’s likely postponing any official announcement for a while. However, in the meantime, Trump has begun holding rallies again to connect with his supporters and remind them just what is needed to continue putting America first.
Nearly every American is speculating about who will run for the Republican ticket in 2024. If Governor DeSantis doesn’t, it could be former Vice President Mike Pence or even former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. Only time will tell, but for now, we can be sure Trump will continue fighting for our nation and its core values.
