(RightIsRight.co) – In a decision that has shocked and outraged many right-minded Americans, the Department of Education of the state of Pennsylvania has officially stated that even 3-year-old children can “identify as transgender” and select their own transgender pronouns.
The body in charge of education in the nation’s fifth most populous state also lists on its website several pronouns that toddlers can pick from when they start expressing themselves as “trans.”
The list of what are described as “viable pronouns” includes “ne, ve, ze/zie, and xe.”
The Pennsylvania Department of Education website also urges teachers to ask about their students’ “preferred pronouns” instead of just “assuming” them.
“In addition to the traditional pronouns (he/him, she/her, they), some people prefer to use gender-neutral pronouns, such as ne, ve, ze/zie, and xe,” says the website, which is supposed to act as a guide for teachers.
“If you don’t know a student’s preferred personal pronoun, it’s always best to ask,” the Pennsylvania DoE advises further, as cited by Breitbart News.
The body describes “binary gender” as the “faulty concept that there are only two genders: male and female.”
It adds that “gender expression/gender presentation” is “how we show our gender to the world through external choices (e.g., dress, behavior, hairstyle).”
The department strongly encourages teachers to celebrate a “gender-neutral day.” During such days, students would be told to choose “two to three ways they will reject gender stereotypes for the day.”
The officials in charge of Pennsylvania’s educational system also ask teachers and students to “make specific commitments” to “challenge gender norms.”
Parents Defending Education, a parent rights group, has condemned what it says is transgender indoctrination by the Department of Education of Pennsylvania.
“This is part of a national effort in schools to ‘break the binary’ by confusing young children about biological sex and indoctrinating them into believing that gender is a spectrum,” Parents Defending Education Director of Outreach Erika Sanzi told Fox News.
“The Department of Education should delete these ideology-based resources from their website, and anyone teaching gender fluidity to three-year-olds does not belong in a classroom,” she added.
