(RightIsRight.co) – Foo Fighters lead singer superstar rocker Dave Grohl dropped a bombshell as he revealed that he fathered a baby out of wedlock.
“I’ve recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage,” Grohl wrote on social media.
The surprising announcement was brief, with the 55-year-old explaining his current situation in a few straightforward lines.

“I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her,” he said, referring to his newborn daughter.
Grohl also touched on the impact of the affair on his family.
“I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness,” the Foo Fighter lead singer shared.
Moreover, the rock star did not spill any details about the woman involved in the affair, how long it had been going on, or the age of his new daughter. He chose to keep her name private too.
“We’re grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together,” Grohl concluded.
The rock star disabled comments on this post and all his other Instagram posts, likely to avoid a public backlash over the revelation.
According to Page Six, Grohl married Jordyn Blum in their Los Angeles home back in 2003.
However, he was previously married to the photographer Jennifer Youngblood from 1994 until 1997 and reportedly has acknowledged that infidelity helped lead to their divorce.
Grohl, who shares three daughters with his wife stated he loves his family and is doing “everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness”.
The couple has three children together: Violet Maye, Harper Willow, and Ophelia Saint.
