(RightIsRight.co) – Exposing a chilling attempt to “reset” the U.S. Government by saying he felt like terrorist Osama Bin Laden, the FBI thwarted a Florida man’s alleged plot to bomb the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE).

FBI agents said Yener’s “motivation for bombing the NYSE was to attain a ‘reboot’ and/or ‘reset’ of the United States government.”

Yener also allegedly told agents he considered joining ISIS but decided not to in 2015 because he believed “ISIS would not ultimately succeed in achieving their objectives.”

By mid-November, investigators stated that Yener had made audio recordings of the demands and reasons behind the attack. “I feel like Bin Laden,” he said.

The FBI’s investigation into Yener began in February 2024 after discovering explosive device blueprints in a Florida storage unit. They uncovered suspicious items, including electronic watches with alarms, timers, and circuit board parts.

Additionally, Yener’s Google search history revealed he had been researching bomb-making since 2017, demonstrating a long-standing fascination with explosives.

Spiral notebooks found in his possession contained ominous statements about preparing for combat and defeating enemies, further highlighting his radical intentions.

Yener also admitted to having experience with bomb-making and expressed past desires to join domestic extremist groups.

“There is one place that would be hella easy… the stock exchange, that would be a great hit. Tons of people would support it,” he allegedly told an undercover operative last month.

“They would see it and think dude, this guy makes sense, they are [profanity] robbing us. So that’s perfect,” he added.

The suspect’s twisted ideology became evident as he worked with undercover FBI agents, revealing his plans to disguise himself while planting the explosive and even recording a message for the press explaining his motives.

Perhaps most concerning is Yener’s belief that the U.S. was “due for a revolution.” This dangerous rhetoric echoes the sentiments of radical leftist groups that have been emboldened by weak leadership and policies that undermine American values and security.
