(RightIsRight.co) – The Texas Republican Party adopted a new platform in which they have said President Joe Biden “was not legitimately elected” as the 2020 elections violated the constitution.
The Texas GOP adopted the 40-page platform during their convention in Houston.
“We reject the certified results of the 2020 presidential election, and we hold that acting President Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. was not legitimately elected by the people of the United States,” the platform states.
James Wesolek, the Texas GOP’s communications director, said this resolution was passed by voice vote.
The reason they claim is the “substantial election fraud in key metropolitan areas,” which affected the results in five states.
They also claimed that various secretaries of state “illegally circumvented” state legislatures.
“We strongly urge all Republicans to work to ensure election integrity and to show up to vote in November of 2022, bring your friends and family, volunteer for your local Republicans, and overwhelm any possible fraud,” the platform continues.
The mainstream media consider the 2020 election one of the “most secure” ones in American history, and there is no evidence to suggest widespread voter fraud.
They claim that many recounts and audits have also confirmed that former President Trump lost many swing states, and it has nothing to do with voter fraud.
The platform was published only a few days after the House select committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021 attack on the Capitol started conducting public hearings.
The panel is looking to connect Trump and his claims of voter fraud with the attack on the Capitol. Testimony also showed that many in Trump’s inner circle did not think he had won the election.
