(RightIsRight.co) – A retired lieutenant general from the US Army has been punished for openly mocking First Lady Jill Biden and, more specifically, her stance in favor of abortion and transgenderism.
While the officer in question, Lt. Gen. Gary Volesky, is no longer on active duty, he presently holds a well-paying mentor position with the Army, from which he has now been suspended because of daring to criticize President Joe Biden’s wife.
The reason for Volesky’s suspension is that he mocked Jill Biden for her recent comments about the abortion ruling of the US Supreme Court.
Because of that decision, the First Lady has been crying foul over the “rights of women” even though she has been promoting transgenderism, the ideology which doesn’t even recognize the existence of “women” and only speaks of “birthing people” and “menstruating humans.”
“For nearly 50 years, women have had the right to make our own decisions about our bodies. Today, that right was stolen from us,” Jill Biden wrote on Twitter about the anti-abortion Supreme Court ruling.
“Glad to see you finally know what a woman is,” Lt. Gen. Volesky quipped in a response tweet that came exactly 29 minutes after Jill Biden’s post.
The US Army general’s tweet calling out the hypocrisy of the First Lady has since been deleted.
On June 24, the Supreme Court killed the 1973 Roe v. Wade ruling that had allowed abortion on the federal level and made abortion a state-level issue, allowing at least 26 states to introduce full or partial abortion bans.
Lt. Gen. Gary Volesky was previously in charge of the 101st Airborne Division of the US Army, and he has also served as Army spokesman, The New York reported.
His contract under which he advises officers on active duty as a mentor for $92 an hour has since been suspended for the duration of an internal investigation into his open criticism of Jill Biden.
