Former President Trump has fully endorsed Representative Jim Jordan for the position of House Speaker, citing his widespread respect.

Trump highlighted on his TRUTH Social platform that Jim Jordan has made notable contributions even before representing Ohio’s 4th Congressional District in Washington. As a testament to his esteem, Trump mentioned that he awarded Jordan the prestigious Presidential Medal of Freedom during his tenure as President.

Acknowledging Jordan’s prowess in wrestling, Trump noted his remarkable achievements both in high school and at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He also emphasized Jordan’s academic accomplishments, pointing out that he holds a master’s in Education from Ohio State University and a law degree from Capital University.

Trump commended Jordan’s unwavering stance on crime, border security, military, veterans, and the 2nd Amendment. He conveyed confidence in Jordan’s potential as the House Speaker and vouched for his integrity and the support of his family.

The announcement of Jordan’s bid for the House Speaker position came after Representative Kevin McCarthy was ousted. Representative Steve Scalise also threw his hat in the ring for the same role.

In a recent conversation with Fox News Digital, Trump suggested that if the Republicans face challenges rallying behind either Jordan or Scalise, he would consider stepping into the role of Speaker for a temporary period, especially as he is gearing up for his presidential campaign. He emphasized that his main aim is to support the party.

Sources within the Republican conference indicate that Jordan has garnered significant support, with his ability to bridge gaps and garner the required votes being particularly highlighted.
