(RightIsRight.co) – Stating his position based on his past successes and strength in polls, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has decided not to participate in any future debates, as he is focused on governing, not debating.
Watch the video below.
Trump recently reiterated his stance on not engaging in any upcoming debates, strongly emphasizing his past wins and poll results.
He made his position known in a post on Truth Social, dismissing Kamala Harris’ request for another debate and stating that he has previously defeated both her and Joe Biden.
His decision comes despite the impartial outcome of the September ABC News Presidential Debate, which did not significantly influence voter preferences.
Moreover, Ohio Senator JD Vance and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz continue their campaign efforts across key battleground states following their recent vice-presidential debate.
Walz is set to visit central Pennsylvania with Senator John Fetterman, while Vance will head to Michigan.
The race remains closely contested, with just 33 days until Election Day. The recent debate, which focused on policy issues and featured a notable fact-checking clash between Vance and the moderator, did not significantly change the campaign trajectory.
Amid debates and campaign activities, Trump delivered speeches in Wisconsin but has no more public events scheduled for now. Both campaigns prioritize fundraising with multiple events planned in various states.
In turn, former classmates of Vance raised over $10,000 for Haitian immigrants, countering his campaign’s false claims about migrants.
Although Harris will be occupied with hurricane relief efforts in Georgia, the battleground states are seeing focused attention from both campaigns.
Moreover, Harris’ campaign has also targeted Trump for his abortion stance, and liberal groups released a new ad targeting Hispanic voters by contrasting her immigration policies with Trump’s.
The former president remains undeterred by recent debates and static poll numbers. His bold refusal to re-engage on the debate stage underscores his confidence in his strong poll standing and his stance of prioritizing governance over rhetorical contests.
Spokeswoman Sarafina Chitika said in a statement, “Voters aren’t stupid. They heard Trump brag about killing Roe, heard him when he called for ‘punishment’ for women and heard him call the extreme Trump bans he made possible ‘a beautiful thing to watch.’”
With early voting approaching, both campaigns are notably concentrated on battleground states.
Meanwhile, Trump’s decision not to engage in further debates reflects a strategic focus on maintaining his lead and governing rather than rehashing past arguments.
Trump declines second CNN debate: "I've already done two…The problem with another debate is that it's just too late. Voting has already started. She's had her chance to do it with Fox. Fox invited us on, and I waited and waited. They turned it down." pic.twitter.com/rhispm3zVZ
